About Us: About
Tricky Paws is a small puppy and dog training business based in Highbridge, ith group classes held in Burnham-On-Sea and Bleadon. The aim of Tricky Paws is to educate both dogs and their owners through reward-based and fun training in group classes and private tuition.
We currently offer group classes for companion puppies and dogs, private tuition, workshops and a weekly coffee morning called COFFEE CLUB. All techniques used are easy to follow, kind and effective, helping you to build a strong bond and partnership with your canine companion.

Carrie-Anne founded Tricky Paws Companion Puppy & Dog School in 2012 and it was originally based in Weston-Super-Mare.
At the time, Tricky Paws was more or less a hobby for Carrie-Anne and focused mainly on puppies and adult dog training, as well as providing a behaviour consultancy service. The first ever group puppy class consisted of just three puppies but it did not take very long for the business to grow and flourish!
In 2015 Tricky Paws moved it's HQ to Highbridge and it has since evolved into a professional business. Tricky Paws has a growing team of incredible people who are just as passionate about dogs and their families, as Carrie-Anne is.

Sadly, the animal behaviour and training industry is still unregulated within the UK; however, we pride ourselves in bringing our clients the highest standards of training and behaviour modification available.
To ensure the quality and standard of our practices, we work hard to complete regular CPD and achieve and maintain memberships of highly reputable organisations and associations within the animal behaviour and training sector. All of our training methods are kind, effective and reliable, creating happy dogs with good manners and happy owners who can communicate effectively with their canine companion.
